A look around

Room for your personality.

Tall ceilings, considered lighting, and portraits on the walls set the scene. The studio brings the camera space and artwork together, so you can begin imagining a photograph as something you will live with.

Light with a purpose.

Backdrops and studio lighting give us a starting point. We guide the positioning, expression, and small details around the portrait you have in mind, whether it feels soft and connected or dramatic and full of character.

Styling that starts with you.

Bring a few references and the colors you love to the planning conversation. We can talk through clothing, the maternity gown collection, and how the people in your portrait fit together.

Artwork in view.

Portraits displayed around the lounge give you a sense of scale and presentation. A favorite wall, a small personal space, or an album can each be part of the conversation.

From the studio to your home

See what it can become.

Your in-person projected reveal is a chance to see the photographs together, notice your favorites, and consider how you want to enjoy them.

A wall portrait can hold one expression. An album or image box can keep a wider story together. Bring a room photograph or approximate wall dimensions if you have a space in mind.

Artwork is selected and purchased separately at your reveal.

Planning your McKinney visit.

Where is the studio, and when can I visit?

Our McKinney address and directions are listed above. Visits are by appointment, Wednesday through Sunday, 10am to 7pm. Call or inquire before coming so we can discuss the purpose of your visit and confirm a time.

Does an inquiry reserve my session?

An inquiry begins the conversation. Share your preferred timing and portrait ideas, and the studio will confirm availability and explain the reservation details before a date is secured.

What should we prepare for a family portrait?

Tell us the number of adults and children, the children's ages, and the groupings you would love to photograph. Start with a shared clothing palette and pieces everyone can move and sit in comfortably. A familiar small toy can be helpful for a child.

How do we plan maternity wardrobe and timing?

Get in touch with your timing, comfort considerations, and a few portraits that speak to you. We will discuss the studio gown collection and any pieces you would like to bring, then confirm wardrobe options and studio availability together.

What should I bring for my pet?

Bring their usual lead or carrier and a familiar toy or suitable treat. Share any sensitivities or handling needs before the session, and tell us whether people or other pets will join. We can talk through arrival and settling in as part of the plan.

When do I choose my photographs and artwork?

Your portrait experience includes an in-person projected reveal. You see the photographs together and choose the artwork you would like for your home. Artwork is purchased separately at the reveal; our Investment page explains the session and artwork structure.

Can you help me plan for access or arrival needs?

Call the studio before your visit with any access, mobility, or arrival questions. We can discuss your specific needs and confirm the relevant arrangements with you before you come.
